As part of some ongoing work developed from 2011/12 a self-assessment has been developed via the Forum to help services/groups/organisations compare and ensure they are delivering safe services for victims as per the Birmingham Inter-Agency Domestic Violence Standards.  The self-assessment focuses on three areas 1) Staff knowledge and training, 2) Environment in which services are delivered and 3) Operations and procedures.  The tool helps to identify areas for development and areas of strength.
