Road Safety

The South Birmingham Road Safety Group is chaired by Steve Husbands (West Midlands Fire Service) and supported by Sue Brookin.  It’s purpose is to develop better, smarter ways of local services of working together to improve local road safety.  This is looking particularly at:

  • Safer cycling and supporting Birmingham’s Cycle Revolution
  • School travel, including the controversial topic of school parking
  • Speeding
  • Motorbikes
  • Off-road bikes and mini-motos
  • Young drivers
